Membership Rules: 1. Wales Poker League (WPL) play No Limit Texas Hold’ Em style poker.  2. To participate in WPL events registration is required, and is free of charge.  3. Participants must be 18 years of age, or older, to register.  Proof of age may be requested when registering.  4. All WPL events are approximately 2.5 hours in duration, inclusive of breaks, unless stated otherwise.  5. The poker chips used at WPL events have absolutely no monetary value or otherwise.  They CANNOT be exchanged for cash or any currency as prohibited by law.  6. During play WPL No Limit Hold ‘Em game rules are used at all WPL events and can be obtained from the Tournament Host or at our website (www.playwpl.com) for you to review.  7. All WPL events are ‘self dealt’, so that for any round of play the person holding the ‘Dealer Button’ is required to deal the cards.  8. Prizes awarded at WPL events have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash.  9. Members of the WPL agree that whilst they are participating in any WPL event to be photographed and agree to these and their name being published in various forms of media, including but not limited to posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, the internet and agree to waive any rights they may have in this regard.  10. WPL members agree that the WPL has all rights, as major sponsor of the winner, for marketing and promotional purposes for a period of three (3) years from the date of winning our major prize at no cost to the WPL.  11. If the Tournament Host deems any WPL member to be cheating, colluding or behaving inappropriately the Tournament Host has the right to remove them from the event.  The WPL management has the right to disqualify those caught from the league and exclude them from future WPL events.  12. The Tournament Host will settle all disputes regarding the playing of the game and their decision is final.  13.
